Christa Collins (b. 1996, Nashville, TN) is an emerging Atlanta and Nashville based artist working in painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Her practice explores presence, memory, and the emotional and spiritual landscapes beneath the surface.
Rooted in Abstract Expressionism, Collins blends gesture, spontaneity, and the subconscious to develop a personal language of emotion and spirit. Her process is instinctive and materially engaged, emphasizing fluidity, imperfection, and tactile exploration of layered textures and surfaces.
Her work has been exhibited at Zeitgeist Gallery (Nashville, TN), Alday Hunken Gallery, and Kai Lin Gallery (Atlanta, GA), and is included in private collections such as the Bankers Alley Hotel (Nashville, TN). In 2024, she was awarded Critic’s Pick by Creative Loafing and featured in Gulch Magazine (Vol. 1). Collins also participated in the 2025 Atlanta Art Fair.

“As a Black woman working in abstraction - my practice is deeply rooted in emotional and spiritual excavation. I’ve always experienced the world through heightened sensitivity—an intuitive awareness that shapes both how I move through life, and how I create.”
