Daniel Reidy is an artist-educator living and working in Cincinnati, Ohio. Originally from Elmira, New York, Reidy earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the Tyler School of Art and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia. At the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Reidy works for the facilities department as the wood shop technician and for the liberal arts department as an adjunct instructor in art history.

“My favorite song on an album very often turns out to be the one I dismissed or even disliked at first listen. I think those songs were beyond my ability to really hear; they challenged me to evolve a bit. I’m reluctant to trust my own paintings when they seem too easy, or (god forbid) too pretty.”
