These paintings explore how the familiar emerges from layering, marks that never coalesce, lines that build unstable, shifting, wonky structures. Earlier gestures hang around and remain visible beneath the revised surfaces. Images aren’t fixed. They emerge and depart, enter and exit all at the same time. Form, like perception and consciousness is becoming and evolving, digesting and being digested.
