We Need New Words

The exhibition contends with way finding without an adequate vocabulary to explain an unpredictable world in constant flux. The failure of codified signifying systems to make meaningful sense of our unprecedented historical moment becomes the point of origin for the work in the exhibition. At its core, the exhibition is about ontological reorientation.  What was familiar becomes unknown, creating new territory for exploration and new ways of thinking.
